Izah Hankammer (1995), born in Manila, Philippines and raised in Berlin, Germany, is a freelance dance performer and artist currently based in Tilburg, Netherlands. In 2020, she graduated from the Contemporary Dance programme of Fontys Dance Academy, where she was also nominated for the Jacques de Leeuw Top Talent Award. Her work revolves around the different facets of dance performance. Aside from being a dance performer,
she continues to push the boundaries of her art by also working
as a teacher, dramaturge, choreographer, writer, actress, vocalist,
and critical thinker.

In the past, Izah has worked with choreographers in different countries such as Anja Meser (DE), Beatrice Fleischlin (CH),
Ru Atma (AU), Gabriella Secchi (IT), Angelo Egarese (IT), Roberto Olivan (ES), en Guy Nader en Maria Campos (ES), amongst many others.  She is the the co-founder of moOv,
a partnership with Lucas Devroe, which aims to foster individuality through movement. As of 2020, moOv is one of the artists supported by Makershuis Tilburg. Currently, she is also
a dancer at Meyer-Chaffaud Dance Company.
